Prasiolite , also known as green quartz, green amethyst or vermarine  is a green variety of quartz. Artificial prasiolite is produced by heat treatment of amethyst because some amethyst will turn green when treated. Currently, almost all prasiolite on the market results from a combination of heat treatment and ionizing radiation.
This specific gemstone is heat treated Amethyst that is not radiated. It is haxagonal from shape and has a well cut snowflake cut, different hues of green, and its symmetry is good , its polish is good. The luster is very good.
