On this specimen Luscious Raspberry Red Crystals of grossular garnet nestle in a bone white rhyolite matrix. The color of the crystals on this piece is quite vivid, not the washed out pink you sometimes see, and they are all very lustrous. Coverage is good, with nice shaped crystals poking out in several places.
